Ever evolving Château Exhibit
In the main lobby, come see the temporary exhibition, made out of a giant deck of cards!
Playing cards form a fascinating universe. Wizards use them to impress their audience, fortune tellers to predict the future, children to build castles. King Louis XIII himself, who ruled from 1610 to 1643, enjoyed stacking cards to build citadels as a child. But it is mainly as entertainment that the cards have crossed the centuries.
For 400 years, we have been having fun playing cards. These will be the canvas to tell you the beautiful story of the construction of the Château Frontenac, a hotel that has hosted, since its inauguration in 1893, valets, queens, kings, aces ... and even jokers!
